Project Engineer/ Commissioning Engineer.(Audio Visual)

Years of Experience

• 5 Years Project Related Mandatory (Preferred with AV Systems Integrator)

Qualification

• Bachelor or Higher Degree in IT or any other engineering discipline (Mandatory)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Mandatory)
• Excellent spoken and written English (Mandatory)
• Oman driving license (Plus point)
• Technical Certification (Mandatory)
• Audio Visual Certification (Any): Crestron, Extron, QSC, CEDIA or AVIXA CTS

Roles and Responsibilities

• Building and testing the installation, setting up cables, working carefully with attention to detail.
• Being able to follow both a client’s instructions and think creatively to come up with solutions that fit the client’s time frame and budget.
• Being aware of how to be safe on location or at a event, especially when using electrical and heavy equipment.
• Working in a team, speaking professionally to clients, sometimes calculating what hours of work and noise levels are acceptable when working near offices, and speaking to staff on site about delivery of equipment.
• Maintenance, troubleshooting and problem-solving of hardware and software.

Technical Skills

• Cabling and wiring to implement technologies into AV setups.
• Competence with video conference and broadcasting systems.
• Expertise in processing control, routing, and audio video signal flow with broadcast software.
• Understanding AV technologies and IT systems on a technical level.
• Familiarity with graphics, encoding and video editing software.
• Interpersonal, delegation, and teamwork skills. The ability to clearly understand to and respond to needs as communicated by other members of the team.
• Capabilities, experience in multimedia, broadcasting, streaming and routing.
• Experience in Crestron, QSC & Extron programming & GUI Designing and Troubleshooting.
• Audio programming of QSC, Biamp, Bose, Extron, QSC & Symetrix DSP.
• Thorough working knowledge of AV over IP Devices.
• Well-versed in RS-232, IP, and IR Control Protocols.
• Videoconferencing operation and troubleshooting of Cisco, Polycom, MS Teams & Zooms.

• Audio: Bose, Biamp, Shure, QSC, Extron, Crestron, Audinate, Allen&Heith, Sennheiser, Yamaha.
• Control: QSC, Extron, Crestron, Sony, Panasonic, Lumens, Blackmagic.
• Video: LG, Samsung, QSC, Extron, Crestron, Sony, Panasonic, Lumens, BlackMagic, Lightware, Cisco, Logitec, Apple.
• Streaming & Broadcasting :LG, Samsung, QSC, Extron, Crestron, Sony, Panasonic, Blackmagic, Televes, Cahors, ALCAD.
